The painting this week is titled ‘Clendinning Provincial Park’.
The park of the same name was established as a protected area in 1996. There is limited access to this remote valley. Travelling on the Squamish Valley road and onto a forest service road. While about 200 k from Vancouver this area provides habitat for both grizzly and black bearish also provides a migration corridor for black tailed deer ,goats ,wolves and cougars.Although hiking is permitted in this area there are no formal developed trails .
